Hey guys~
I'm called Haruka, I'm an Indonesian girl who love my room a little bit too much (maybe). No, seriously, I love my room so much, I'd rather be in my room than anywhere else. For a book lover like me, my room really is my castle. I've been collecting books forever, since I found the joy of reading, plus my mom is also a book lover (she like cooking book more than any other book tho). When I'm a kid, my mom used to give me various folklore and fairy tale books, usually in English. When I'm in grade 7, my friend introduce me to manga (Japanese comic book), I remember the first manga I read is Candy Candy, and I fell in love with it! I've been collecting them since, and now I have no less than 600 manga in my room.

Here it is! This is my lovely room~~ |
I also started to collect novel books when I'm in grade 8, especially when my mom give me the first 3 series of Harry Potter. I just can't put the books down until I finish reading it all (and so I started my nocturnal life early on)! It become my habit to wake up at 6 in the morning, go to school, going home at 1 pm, shed my school life, pick up the book, and not letting go until I absolutely have to (usually when I'm getting sleepy) and go to sleep at 2 am. Oh boy, that's so not healthy! Maybe that's why I get such strange illness not long after that. Do you know there's an allergy from too much exposure from the sun? I feel so miserable! Thankfully it's not that serious, I just get a mild fever in the night and gets better in the morning (I can't even have a day off from school since the illness only flare up at night *cry*). I have that illness for about 3 month. So, getting enough sleep is important, lesson learned (though I still sleep late sometimes).
I go to a high school in a different city, and so I live apart from my folks. The city I go to high school now is more advanced than my hometown, and I feel really nervous to meet some "city kid". I'm what you called a "country bumpkin" and really, the studies is more difficult in the city! Back then it's rare to found a house with a computer in my hometown, unlike in the city where it's the norm to have a computer. That's why I learn very hard to be more of a "city kid" and learn how to use computer and such. Turns out that I don't have to be overly worried because all my friends is really nice, even though I'm the only one that came from my hometown. I learn how to use internet and joined some forum too. After high school, I go to an university in the same city as my high school.
When I finish my university life (which is very exciting and lively), my parent decided to sent me to China so I can learn Mandarin language. I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of Mandarin language, I'd rather learn Japanese language, but what can I say, I have to abide my parent, so off I go to China. It's not bad actually, I got used to live there, and even like the city I live in. After finishing my language school there, I go back to my hometown to live with my parent again, and help them and my big brother with their job. If you haven't experienced working life, let me tell you, it can get tedious, what with all the long work hour and lots of demand. And so I decided to try blogging when I have free time from work.
Whew, what a long introduction. That's all for now, I think..
Thanks for visiting my blog~~
With love,
Haruka
